Hey There!
We are Nicole Pennings and Lindsay Zekveld, cousins, business partners and best friends! We started Peony House in 2016, during our last year of high school. Since then, we have done over one hundred weddings (two of those being our own!), and counting. We are so thankful for the gifts that God has given us in this area and it is our desire to use them for his glory. Working with His beautiful creation is a real joy for us, and it's our goal to display that in the work that we do!We're so excited that you have found our business and we can't wait to connect with you!HI!
I'm Nicole Pennings! So glad you're here!I just married my best friend, Calvin, and we are living in St. George, Ontario. My husband works on a local farm, and raises his own veal calves on the side. I am just settling into my new home and am really looking forward to creating from my own location! It was so fun to be able to design my own wedding flowers, using what we've learned over the past 5 years of business, seeing all of those beautiful bouquets that we've designed for past clients - it was hard to choose my own favourite!I love flowers and designing and am so thankful to everyone who has trusted us at Peony House with their wedding floral vision. I'm Lindsay Zekveld! I married Jacob Zekveld in the spring of 2021. Since then, we have moved to Appin, Ontario and started a family! Silas was born on April 3rd of 2022 - he's my little flower pal and accompanies me on all of my floral deliveries and wedding setups. My husband is an electrician but dreams of farming - it's definitely a future goal of ours. My life is filled up with family, church and flowers, and I couldn't be more thankful for that! Peony House has brought us into contact with so many wonderful couples and other wedding vendors - it's been a wonderful adventure so far! So excited to see what the coming years will bring!~ Lindsay
